Description
Olfen 50mg, the active ingredient in DICLOFENAC SODIUM 50mg, is one of a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs reduce pain and inflammation.
Benefits
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout (painful inflammation of the joints especially in the feet and hands), ankylosing spondylitis (form of spinal arthritis).

How To Use
You should take this by mouth. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink and before a meal or on an empty stomach. Do not crush, chew or suck the tablets.
The doctor may also prescribe another medicine to protect the stomach to be taken at the same time, particularly if you have had stomach problems before
The recommended daily dose is 75-150 mg in two or three divided doses. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.
