Description

Gazix (Simethicone) is a surface active agent, it acts as a dispersant of gas bubbles by reducing surface tension causing the gas bubbles covered with mucus in the stomach and intestine to collapse. Gazix is not absorbed from the stomach and intestine, so that it has no harmful effects. Symptomatic treatment of all types of excessive gas accumulation or formation in the gastro-intestinal tract such as flatulence, meteorism, aerophagy, gastrocardiac symptom complex, postoperative meteorism. To prepare for endoscopic, radiological or sonographic investigations of the stomach and/or bowel.
