Omesar belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin-II receptor antagonists
Olmesartan

It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily. It lowers your blood pressure and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body.

Used to treat hypertension. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, liver and kidney problems.

The recommended starting dose is one 10 mg tablet once a day.However, if your blood pressure is not controlled,
your doctor may decide to change your dose up to 20 or 40 mg once a day, or prescribe additional medicines.
The tablets can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablets with a sufficient amount of water
