Opizole Cream is used to treat all fungal skin infections such as infection of the vulva and also used with other medicines to treat infection of the vagina. It is also used to prevent reinfection by applying on the penis of the sexual partner. Opizole solution can also be used to treat fungal infections of the middle ear and outer ear. This medicine works by blocking the synthesis of a substance in the cell membranes of fungi. It may lead to functional and structural dysfunction of fungi. Opizole belongs to the Antifungal class of medicines. Antifungals are a group of drugs that treat fungal infections of the skin and body, including athlete's foot, fungal nail infections, ringworm, and vaginal candidiasis. These medicines limit the growth of a wide range of fungi by damaging the fungal cell membrane.
