For treatment of high blood pressure, the usual dose of Telmisartan is one 40mg tablet once a day to control blood pressure over the 24-hour period
Your doctor has recommended a lower dose of one 20mg tablet daily
You can take Telmisartan with or without food. The tablets should be swallowed with some water
